i don’t know anything about ferrets…but where do you think the worms are coming from. of course, the ferret has worns.
go on the internet to a ferret site and find out how to worm them and with what. remember worms on cats and dogs often come from fleas.
they chew on their fur where the flea is, then swallow the flea and out comes a worm in the stool. what you are discribing is called flat worms,
so you might have a double problem. fleas and worms, get rid of both parasites and everyone will be happy. ya got a vet??
Worms or maggots.
We had an issue for a while with maggots in my indoor rabbits litterpan.
I simply had to keep taking the litterpan out and hosing it down and making sure the they were all out of there regularly and then I put a few good fly traps on top of his cage. I haven’t had a problem since.
You can put Poison in the cage for the worms to eat and die
that means you need to clean their box far more often. they are most likely fly maggots, that said, i would give a vet a call and see what they think. they can give you the best advice about if your ferret has them and what to do about it if your ferret does.
