yes all ferrets colour goes more pale and there skin goes thicker and so does there fur so do not panick it happens to everyone.

It’s normal. My boy used to double in size in winter! He was a big frame to start with, and then his winter weight made him the size of a cat!! The weight comes off as the weather gets warmer and the coat will shed back to the darker long hairs. Enjoy your ferrets, they’re adorable pets!

Just like people … we all gain weight over the winter months.
